Cassandra Clare Reading & Giveaway

My first and best reading ever!!!!! I went with my dear friend Madelyn to Cassandra's reading and signing in Bayreuth (Bavaria) last Friday. There I met fellow German Blog buddies Kari and Steffie Meli (Ich Doofkopf). Really sweet girls! :3 The evening started with Cassandra reading a segment of City of Glass followed by Claudia Engler reading the same segment in German. And then we had a Q&A round. Uhhhh~ you don't know nervous I was! It took me about 25 minutes before I was ready to stutter ask my question. ... Where were your brain waves, Yan? :P My question was about City of Fallen Angels (Spring 2011). I asked her if it's the first book of a new trilogy and if it's mostly about Simon. Her answer was, she doesn't know yet, but her publisher would be quite surprised if she told them, there's more to come. And yes, it contains 50% Simon dealing with his vampire life and 50% Clary, Jace and Co. (;___;) But I need more Clary and Jace!!!!! I also made a record of the the whole Q&A but clumsy me clicked the wrong button so it got lost. Arrrgh!!!!

Funny fact: Cassandra Clare owns the same cam as me! This one ♥>

Pure awesomeness!!!!! Sneak peak of City of Fallen Angels>>>>

Edit: It's up!!!

Vlog to Vania

The video is so embarrassing but I wanted to make something more personal. So, here are my spoken (in German accent!) "thanks" live in colors. But, uh, I forgot so many things I wanted to mention. Like sending my thanks to the authors who were willing to sign an extra bash of bookmarks. THANK YOU!!

Also, thanks for showing/telling them my quite complicated name. :D *pointing at Sarah MacLean's & Mari Mancusi's bookmark* You guys rock!
